The Peter Lougheed Award for Leadership in Public Policy will be presented to four exemplary Western leaders being recognized for their extraordinary leadership and contribution to public policy and public discourse. Prime Ministers of Canada Fellowship

The Prime Ministers of Canada Fellowship was established in 2012 to mark the Public Policy Forum’s 25th anniversary, when all living former Prime Ministers were honoured at the Testimonial Dinner and Awards in Toronto. The Fellowship brings prominent Canadian leaders to PPF for a year to conduct research and convene dialogues about public policy, democratic institutions and good governance.

Public Policy Forum honours four Western Canadians with Peter Lougheed Awards

Sue Paish will be one of four recipients of the Peter Lougheed Award at PPF’s Annual Western Dinner on Sept. 19 at the downtown Vancouver Marriott. Sue will be joined by three other distinguished recipients of the award. Fellow award recipient Andrew Petter, the president of Simon Fraser University, said he was humbled and pleased about the award. “Public policy is such an important instrument of democracy,” Petter said.
