The third and last stage of Ontario’s Condominium Act Review began in fall 2013 with a final Residents’ Panel meeting to review the Stage Two Solutions Report. The general public had 45 days to provide feedback on the report through various channels, resulting in over 1,400 responses.

To conclude Stage Three, the Forum convened five public roundtables across the province to give condo residents and stakeholders the opportunity to validate the recommendations and further explore the proposal for a Condo Office. Sessions took place in the following locations:

  • December 9, 2013 in Ottawa
  • December 10, 2013 in Mississauga
  • December 12, 2013 in Toronto
  • January 16, 2014 in London
  • January 23, 2014 in Scarborough

The Stage Three Feedback Report captures key outcomes from all the engagement activities in the final stage of the review process. Serving as a learning tool for other governments, A Case Study of Ontario’s Condominium Act Review provides a clear, readable account of the three-stage process, as well as an analysis of lessons learned and best practices to inform future public engagement projects.
