Claude Lauzière joined the Public Policy Forum as a Policy Lead, bringing diverse experience from the non-profit and public sectors. Claude was previously Manager of Engagement with the founding team of the Rideau Hall Foundation and Manager of Community Knowledge at Community Foundations of Canada. She has also worked in various research and analysis capacities at Canada 2020, Global Affairs Canada and Indigenous and Northern Affairs Canada. After graduating from her masters, she moved to Dar es Salaam, Tanzania to work in microfinance with a housing cooperative.
Claude holds a Graduate Diploma in Social Innovation from the University of Waterloo, an M.A. in international trade from the Norman Paterson School of International Affairs and a B.Sc. in Economics and Political Science (double major) from l’Université de Montréal.
Claude was a lead volunteer with Equal Voice’s Daughters of the Vote initiative which brought 338 young women to the House of Commons for the 2017 International Women’s Day. She also sits on the Ontario Non-Profit Network’s Advisory Committee on Decent Work for Women.
Claude joined the Public Policy Forum in January 2017.
