Emerging LeadersEmerging Leaders Award
Established in 2005, the annual award for emerging leaders recognizes contributions of young Canadians who personify leadership in the area of public policy and civic discourse. Recipients of the Emerging Leaders Award are in the early stages of their career and demonstrate exceptional initiative and commitment to the principles of public service. PPXCross-country Engagement Series on Retaining Young Talent
This cross-country conversation engaged 300 young Canadians and select established leaders to rethink workplaces and spaces, and deliberate over approaches to youth attraction and retention. The result was the report The Road to Retention that outlines ten recommendations for organizations in all sectors – private, public and not-for-profit – to consider in their efforts to attract and retain young talent. (March 2009-January 2010)

 

Innovation NextEmerging Innovators Forum
As part of the Innovation Next  cross-country engagement series, this was a dialogue among 50 young entrepreneurs, social innovators, and public servants to generate approaches to foster a culture and practice of innovation, and create the supports for an innovation ecosystem in Canada. (December 2009)

 

Ideas Festival2010 Ideas Festival
A 21inc -Public Policy Forum partnership, the 2010 Ideas Festival  is one of Canada's most inspiring and stimulating forums. It is where Atlantic Canada's emerging leaders gather with their elders to equip themselves with the knowledge and networks to transcend our biggest challenges. (November 24-26 2010)

 

Change Inc.Change Inc: Cultivating Young Social Entrepreneurs
A Public Policy Forum-TakingITGlobal  partnership, Change Inc. seeks to expand and strengthen the youth social entrepreneurship ecosystem in Ontario by building entrepreneurial skills, facilitating learning, skill building and mentoring, between aspiring and established social entrepreneurs. (March 2011-Present)
