Privacy in the Information Age: Government Services and You


The result of the year long Service Delivery National Discussion, this first National Council report has found that, as Canadians move into the information age, they are less worried about risks to their personal privacy than about governments' need to improve their services. The Council's recommendations call for high-level political involvement in creating citizen-centred services and policy, as well as the involvement of citizens as governments look at how their information may be used to make services more effective and accessible.
