Parliamentary Reform

This report discusses some implications for stakeholders on possible approaches to parliamentary reform. The report aims to explore what might be the practical implications for stakeholders who try to track (or influence) the public policy process. Would changes gradually tilt our parliament toward a US-style congressional system? What would be the impact on relations between individual MPs and their electors and/or financial backers? What would be the impact on the quality of legislation? And in the end, would this really improve democracy in Canada?
