Biography
Matt LeBlanc is Manager of Operations with the Forum, where he has been working since March 2007. His primary responsibilities include logistical support for various PPF events and projects.
Since joining the Forum, Matt has been involved with many PPF projects, including a May 2007 event entitled, “The Contribution of Sport and Physical Activity to Canada: Exploring Common Interests and Making Connections”, roundtable consultations for the CRTC, a series of cross-country workshops on a new model of public engagement with Dr. Don Lenihan, a two-day conference held in May of ’08 in Fredericton entitled, ”Learning from New Brunswick: The Public Engagement Initiative”, and workshops for the Offices of the Privacy Commissioner and Information Commissioner of Canada on modernizing the Federal Privacy and Access to Information regimes.
In Fall 2008, Matt played a key role in planning some major PPF events, including “A Check Up on Health Care Reform” in Toronto and “News & the Netizen” in Ottawa. In 2008 and moving forward, he continues to provide logistical support for on-going projects such as the Crossing Boundaries Governance Program and the Working Together Initiative.
Matt also provides logistical support in planning the Public Policy Forum’s flagship event, the Annual Testimonial Dinner & Awards, which is held every Spring in Toronto.
Matt was born and raised in Ottawa.
