The Future of Canada’s Nuclear Energy Sector

Saskatoon workshop – May 14, 2013 | Toronto workshop – May 23, 2013 | Ottawa executive discussion – September 4, 2013

Canada’s Public Policy Forum brought together senior business, government, research and association leaders to discuss the future of Canada’s nuclear energy sector—an important part of the Canadian economy for over 50 years.  Talks focused on the development and export of Canada’s nuclear reactor technologies, fuel (i.e. uranium) and nuclear services. The goal was to provide strategic, concrete recommendations for how industry and government leaders can frame nuclear power as part of a broader, multi-sectoral energy strategy.
