In 2008, businesses and governments from around the world were realizing India’s economic potential and were aligning themselves as preferred trading partners. The Public Policy Forum wanted to know if Canada was losing its market share? If so, what did this mean for Canada’s competitive advantage?

The conference convened senior leaders in business and government from across Canada to discuss the Indian economic landscape, the opportunities and challenges for Canadian businesses, and how public policy could better facilitate collaboration and aid trade.

Conference participants had the opportunity to meet with decision-makers and other leaders from business and government like David Malone, past Canadian High Commissioner in India and current President of the International Development Research Centre, along with a list of other impressive speakers.
