At this conference, participants explored the changing digital world and its effects on media production and distribution models.The event featured Jeff Jarvis, author of What would Google Do?, as keynote speaker on the evening of the 18th. The opening dinner was followed by a series of expert panels on May 19th, which focused on the future of the media in Canada. Panel topics included: "Business Sustainability: Who will provide quality content, and how?"; "Role and relevance of national cultural policy makers and regulators in a borderless digital world"; and, "Alternative content production and distribution models". Participants had the opportunity to engage in lively discussion periods following brief presentations from the panelists. A summary reflection was delivered by Andrew Potter, Features Editor, Canadian Business Magazine.
