For several days, Canadians were transfixed by the prospect of a newly elected minority government losing its hold on power. The Governor General’s granting of the Prime Minister’s request to prorogue Parliament forced federal parties back from the brink, offering Canadians a chance to make sense of what happened.

The Forum assembled a group of experts with a wealth of knowledge and experience that provided valuable insight into what happened and what can be expected once a budget is tabled.
