ITALY - CANADA Spin-offs and Startups: Innovation partnerships between universities, researchers, institutions and industry

The Public Policy Forum is pleased to be partnering with the Embassy of Italy in Canada, Carleton University and the University of Toronto on an upcoming conference focusing on Italy-Canada innovation partnerships.

This day-long event on October 2nd, hosted by Carleton University, will explore key innovation linkages between Canada and Italy and will examine the importance of universities and spin-offs in leading international innovation collaborations.

The current cooperation agreements at the research level between Italian and Canadian universities, in addition to the diverse collaboration initiatives among research centers and corporations, are playing an important role facilitating knowledge transfer and strengthening scientific collaborations applicable to today’s market realities. The objective of this conference is to discuss current initiatives and explore future possibilities, particularly between Canada and Italy, to enhance partnership on university research and market-oriented innovations.
