The Future of Canada’s Nuclear Energy Sector | Saskatoon workshop

When: Tuesday, May 14, 2013

Where: Saskatoon, Saskatchewan

On May 14th, Canada’s Public Policy Forum brought together senior business, government, research and association leaders in Saskatoon to discuss the future of Canada’s nuclear energy sector—an important part of the Canadian economy for over 50 years. The discussion focused on the development and export of Canada’s nuclear reactor technologies, fuel (i.e. uranium) and nuclear services. The goal was to provide strategic, concrete recommendations for how industry and government leaders can frame nuclear power as part of a broader, multi-sectoral energy strategy.
