Climate Change: An Opportunity for a Bi-Lateral Approach

When: Tuesday, May 22, 2007 - Wednesday, May 23, 2007

Where: Washington, D.C

Climate change has emerged as an important public and business issue in both Canada and the United States. This seminar – co-hosted with the Canada Institute of the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars in May 2007 – explored the opportunities and challenges in developing a coherent bi-national public policy response to the climate change challenge. It brought together 60 leaders from all sectors in Canada and the U.S. to discuss how the shared economic space of Canada and the United States ought to be the platform for government and business solutions.
